Operator Responsibility

You are responsible for your pet-care business and for the services you sell, advertise, confirm, cancel, and deliver through Wagify.

You must keep all public and client-facing information accurate, including prices, service descriptions, availability, staff, qualifications, insurance, licences, cancellation terms, trading details, and contact details.

Trading Disclosures

  • Show your trading name and legal name where legally required.
  • Show your company number, registered office, and place of registration where legally required.
  • Give clients a durable copy or clear link to your client terms, privacy information, cancellation policy, and complaints route.
  • Keep any Wagify-hosted operator website legal links up to date.

Animal Activity Licences

Some UK pet services, including dog boarding, home boarding, day care, selling animals as pets, hiring out horses, and animal exhibition activities, may require local authority licensing. You must decide whether your activities require a licence and keep licence details current.

If Wagify gives prompts or fields for licence details, they are operational prompts only. They do not replace legal advice or local authority checks.

Bookings And Clients

  • You must honour confirmed bookings unless cancellation is permitted by your terms, welfare concerns, safety concerns, client breach, emergency, or another lawful reason.
  • You must review pet health, access, behaviour, vaccination, and emergency information before providing care.
  • You must not rely on Wagify as your only source of emergency information where offline, device, or sync failure could create risk.
  • You remain responsible for staff, subcontractors, assistants, walkers, groomers, drivers, and team members acting for your business.

Payments And Tax

Stripe payments are direct charges to your connected Stripe account. Manual payments are your responsibility to collect, reconcile, refund, and record.

You are responsible for your own tax, invoices, accounting records, refund decisions, and chargeback evidence unless a mandatory law or payment provider rule says otherwise.

Data Protection

You are normally an independent controller for your clients, pets, staff, and business records. Wagify acts as processor where we process operator business data on your instructions, and as controller for our own platform, billing, security, analytics, and support purposes.

You must have a lawful basis for collecting and using client, pet, access, key, health, vaccination, image, and message information. You must not add information to Wagify unless you are entitled to process it.

Operator Websites And Reviews

  • You are responsible for website claims, credentials, testimonials, images, pricing, availability, consumer information, and local compliance.
  • You must not publish fake, incentivised, misleading, or selectively edited reviews.
  • You must remove or correct content when it becomes inaccurate, unlawful, unsafe, or no longer authorised.

Ending Access

You may stop using Wagify, subject to any subscription or billing terms that apply. We may suspend or terminate operator access for breach, non-payment, legal risk, security risk, safety concerns, or misuse.

Operator support is available at [email protected]. Legal notices should be sent to [email protected].
