Stripe Connect Direct Charges
For online booking payments, Wagify uses Stripe Connect direct charges to the operator connected account. The operator is merchant of record for those charges unless a future product flow says otherwise.
Fees And Payouts
- Stripe may deduct processing fees, dispute fees, currency fees, payout fees, or other fees under the operator Stripe account terms.
- Wagify does not currently take a platform fee on booking payments unless an operator plan or written notice says otherwise.
- Payout timing, holds, reserves, onboarding checks, account restrictions, and negative balances are controlled by Stripe and the operator connected account.
Manual Payments
Manual payments are recorded in Wagify for operational tracking, but Wagify does not collect or hold those funds. Operators are responsible for collecting, receipting, reconciling, refunding, and accounting for manual payments.
Disputes And Chargebacks
Operators are responsible for responding to payment disputes and chargebacks, including supplying evidence, refund decisions, and client communications. Wagify may provide platform records where reasonably available.
